Who Can Apply?
Any enrolled member of the Colville Confederated Tribes with a minimum 3.0 grade point average in the past three terms of high school or college can apply for the scholarship.

How Are Recipients Chosen?
We are looking for a well rounded student leader with strong involvement in school and community activities with above average grades. The applicant should have a desire to have a positive future impact in the Colville tribe.
An education committee made up of representatives of the four reservation districts, Inchelium, Keller, Omak, and Nespelem, a teacher/education guidance counselor, and a student representative will select qualified candidates.

How Do You Apply?
Submit the following:

1. Cecelia Somday Education Fund application
2. Two completed Cecelia Somady Education Fund Recommendation Forms
3. One-page essay (200 word maximum)
4. Current high school or college transcript. Note: The Education staff is not responsible for attaching transcripts for current students
