Recycling Day

The Colville Tribes Recycling and Environmental Trust Programs are hosting an educational outreach event for tribal programs, local schools and communities to celebrate America Recycles Day on November 15th. The event will include:

  •  Information on what items the Tribal Recycling Program recycles.
  •  Highlighting 2016 accomplishments that in-clude: the Annual Earth Day Celebration in conjunction with the local school plastic bottle collection competition, and an update on the reservation wide tire collection event.
  •  Local vendors are invited to showcase items that they repurposed and tribal programs and community members will have a chance to show off their up-cycle projects or setup an in-formation booth. A student poster competition will be held for local schools on the subject, “What America Recycles Day Means to Me.”
