The Lucy F. Covington Government Center will be closed in observance of the Indigenous People’s Day. Monday Oct 13, 2025 from 7:00 - 5:30pm.

  • Social Services will also be closed. Adult Protective Services (APS), you can go online at LetsEndElderAbuse.c m or call 1-877-734-6277. In the case of an emergency, please dial 9-1-1. calls regarding the Emergency Financial Assistance Loan program, please contact our main line at (509) 634-2397.

  • NO Shuttle Services Inchelium/Nespelem Route 509-935-0822.

  • Public Works will be CLOSED on Monday, October 13, 2025 in observance of the Indigenous Day Holiday. This includes all of the following departments;

    • Public Works Main Building

    • Public Works Building Permits and Inspections

    • Public Works Water/WasteWater Program

    • Public Works Solid Waste Program - No Curbside Garbage Pickup 

    • Public Works Recycling Program

    • Public Works Facility Maintenance Program

  • Nespelem Community Center will be closed as follows for memorial services: 10/9/25 Thursday - closing at 5:00pm. 10/10/25 Friday - closed for memorial services. 10/11/25 Saturday - closed - closed for memorial services. 10/12/25 Sunday - closed - closed for memorial services. 10/13/25 Monday - will be open from 10:30am to 8:00pm. 10/14/25 Tuesday - will resume normal working hours.
